Vegetarian Burger
As we now eat an almost exclusively vegetarian diet, we made our own meatless burgers today.
The home-baked brioche buns are made from wholemeal spelt flour.
We used chickpeas, sautéed mushrooms and onions for the burger patties. Pepper and salt, thyme and parsley were used as spices.
The sauce is particularly tasty. It consists of onions, garlic, honey, strained tomatoes, salt, pepper, cinnamon and curry.
