I'm Marco – a child of the early 80s, shaped by the intersection of analog permanence and digital change. I live with my wife Simone in a house with a garden, where I spend as much time outdoors as I do tinkering with things indoors.
By trade, I'm a service technician for hi-fi electronics. For me, technology isn't a consumer good – it's a craft. I believe in repairing over replacing, and in understanding a device before upgrading it.
Music is the thread that runs through my life. I started with classical piano, later added electric guitar for the rock side of things. These days I'm drawn to the acoustic bass and the baritone ukulele – pure, reduced, acoustic. I also inherited an accordion from my grandfather that I'd love to spend more time with.
I'm into photography, nature, gardening, and everything vintage-hifi. I enjoy building things – both digital and physical – and I value tools and systems that are functional, long-lasting, and free of unnecessary bloat.
